The View

The View has aired on ABC since 1997, as part of its daytime programming block. Currently in season 20, the Bodega Sans logo centered on a large V featured prominently in promotional and on-air graphics for seasons 9-17. Especially nice were the well done three-dimensional letters discreetly attached to the fronts of the desks behind which the hosts sallied forth with commentary and discussion on wide-ranging subjects of interest to the show’s viewers. The three-dimensional letters were presented simply against plain backgrounds, sometimes back-lit, but always with strong contrast. We liked the logo for its simplicity and scale contrasts. The letters were nicely spaced, though the T-H and E-W could have been a bit tighter for our taste.
